I think if you keep practicing, you'll definitely get better bit by bit. It's important that you start at all, then it depends on how long you keep going. By continuing, you'll automatically practice.
Motivation can be helpful, so you could set yourself goals that motivate you. But artists can differ here and every artist could have their own points that motivate them.
I'm sure you can handle it :)
